Paradox Connemaras is a small breeding farm in the New Hampshire Seacoast.

We bought our first Connemara mare from Mary and Rogers Rutter of Tower Hill Farm in VT. It was the year our youngest daughter had left for college, and the barn was empty.

Tower Hills Carmody (right) was the perfect sport utility pony (SUP) - she had 5 foals, all successful riding ponies: talented, sweet, athletic, versatile, and easy keepers. We were hooked on Connemaras after Carmody!  Almost 20 years later, Carmody is now retired at home where she is happiest taking the grandkids riding.

Tower Hill's Breeze (left) is back in work as flexible safe riding pony.

Northern Divide, AKA Sugar (below right) by Aluinn Dirango x Tre Awain Ballydoon Beauty, both Premium Connemaras, has joined the farm. She has had one elegant colt, Paradox Garrin, by Trout Ranch Malarkey, and is bred back to him for a 2024 foal.

Look through our website and you will be hooked too. We have bred our mares to stallions who are performers, with well respected imported or American bloodlines. We have used our mares as pony club mounts, dressage ponies, hunter jumpers, or just as best friends. The mares are all inspected and approved by the American Connemara Pony Society.

If you do not find what you are looking for here, call or email and perhaps we can hook you up with another Connemara owner who has just what you need. Visitors always welcome.
